Syndicating From Zop To Third-Party

To get started with inventory syndication from your Zop website to third-party follow the steps below:

  1. Contact your account rep at the company you want to send the inventory to. (Kijiji, Trader, Cargurus, etc.)
  2. Tell them you would like to start sending inventory feeds from Zop Dealer to them.
  3. They can submit the request to us by email: syndication@zopmedia.com. Ask them to include the following in their request:
    1. associated Customer ID or Account ID to submit the feed
    2. FTP details (link and credentials) to submit the feed
    3. file format template
    4. file naming convention
  4. Once our team has received all of the information above, the feed is setup
  5. Zop uploads the feed and notifies the third party.
  6. Third party confirms receipt and format
  7. Zop confirms syndication the following business day

Additional notes regarding syndication:

  1. Zop sends a daily feed to the third party of all In Stock inventory that has been selected for syndication. Sold inventory is not included in the feed.
  2. VIN: many third parties require the VIN to syndicate. Confirm this has been entered on the Update Inventory page for each vehicle you wish to include in the feed.
  3. Third party syndication packages: some third parties have a vehicle syndication package that restricts the number of vehicles that are syndicated. For example, Zop may send 50 vehicles in your feed but if your package is a maximum of 30, only 30 vehicles will be syndicated.  Contact the third party to confirm if you have any limits.
